On February 17, a seminar-training on the topics “Invention and Useful Models”, “Application preparation, handling and expertiing”, “Practice from Patenting Abroad” and various questions related to patenting and “Depositing author’s rights” has been organized in Andijan State Medical Institute by the representatives of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The conference was attended by professors and teachers of the institute, young scientists, doctoral students and masters.
During the seminar Sunnatulla Rahmonov, the head of the Department of Information Resources and ICTMs of “Intellectual Property Center” state institution under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Ikromjon Abdukadirov, the head of the Department of Invention and Useful Models spoke about invention and application of a model, expertizing process, practice of patenting abroad, using patent databases and depositing author’s rights.
At the end, the experts answered in detailes to the participants’ questions and handed over booklets and materials containing additional information to the issue.
