Today, on December 6, an “Open Doors Day” event was held in Andijon State Medical Institute, dedicated to December 9 – International Anti-Corruption Day. The event was attended by the vice-rectors of the Institute, professors, students and representatives of the wider community.
The event was opened by the rector of the Institute, M. Madazimov, who emphasized the importance of increasing democratic reforms in our country in recent years, ensuring the rule of law in society and maintaining transparency and openness. He also mentioned the responsibility of educational institutions in the fight against corruption and the need for young people to adhere to the principles of integrity.
In addition, S. Baxodirov, a responsible employee of Andijon region Prosecutor’s Office, S. O‘rmonov, the chief responsible employee of the regional Justice Department, and S. Asqarov, head of the department for managing anti-corruption and compliance control at the Institute, spoke at the event sharing their ideas on the negative consequences of corruption and the ongoing efforts to prevent it.
Throughout this month, a series of competitions and knowledge contests have been held among the students of the Institute, winners were awarded memorable gifts and cash prizes. The main goal of the event was to ensure openness and transparency at the educational Institution, prevent corruption risks and foster qualities of justice, honesty and humanity in the minds of the younger generation.
