An exhibition of paintings by the famous artist Jora Asran has been held in Andijan State Medical Institute in order to ensure the implementation of the tasks specified in the report №2 of the meeting held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations I. Abdurakhmanov. About 100 works of the artist are included in the exhibition.
The painter Jora Asran, the chairman of Andijan regional branch of the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan R. Ismanov, the first vice-rector of the institute for youth issues and spiritual and educational affairs S. Salohiddinov, faculties deputy deans, tutors and students participated at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
Zhora Asran, a well-known artist, a member of the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan, has been participating in national and international exhibitions with his works since 1985. Since 1989 he has been showing his personal exhibitions in our republic and in foreign countries such as USA, Germany and Egypt. Until now, the artist has won many national and international awards. In 2005, a television film dedicated to the artist’s work was shot.
In the works of the artist, first of all, the special charm of nature, village life, and youthful beauty is designed in the skillful combination of colors. When you look at the pictures, you can hear the laughter of children from the mud houses and in the natural scenery, you feel as if a gentle breeze is blowing on your face. This indicates that the artist describes what he felt with the help of color and brush, not what he saw.
While watching the masterpieces, the students learned from the artist about the history of his creation as well as to what he paid special attention when painting.
Students and staff of the Institute have a good opportunity to enjoy beautiful pictures during this week.
