In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 08.10.2019 No. PF-5847 on approving the concept of the development of higher education system in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030, setting priorities for the systematic reform of higher education in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Andijan State Medical Institute in cooperation with Korean National Transport University (KNTU) was the first in the field of medicine in order to raise the process of training highly qualified medical personnel with modern knowledge and high spiritual and moral qualities to a new level. A contract for open a joint educational program in the direction of “Paramedicine” has been signed.
According to this contract based on an innovative approach to the organization of the activity, it was planned to create a Simulation Center equipped with the most modern medical equipment for students, as well as scientific researchers. The Program of students’ exchangeshas also been mentioned.
In this regard, on April 13-15 of this year, 18-hour training-seminar on the title “First emergency medical aid” was held by professors and teachers of Korean National Transport University and students of Andijan State Medical Institute. As part of the daily programs, the representatives of the partner higher education institution first presented master classes for students of foreign and joint education programs.
After that, representatives of two higher educational institutions organized practical training for employees of Andijan Region Emergency Situations and Fire Fighting Organization, preschool educational institution with the participation of citizens of “Registon” square and “Navroz Mall” entertainment and shopping centers. These processes gave the participants the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge of the subject and learn modern methods.
At the end of the seminar K. Salahiddinov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations thanked the professors and teachers of Korea National Transport University and the students who helped during the training. He handed over certificates and souvenirs. Finally, the exchange of employees and students of the institute, joint research and development with two partner higher educational institutions have been planned. According to the professor of the Korean National University, not only the employees of the medical field, but also the citizens of Andijan province showed great interest in these training sessions and further friendly cooperation work.
