A meeting with the parents of students of the 1st-5th courses of the Therapeutic Faculty of Andijan State Medical Institute was organized.
S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational work, G. Kholmatova, rector’s adviser for women’s issues, chair of the women’s advisory council of the institute, B. Mamatov, the dean of Therapeutic Faculty, O.Arzikulov, the institute psychologist, J.Khojayev, crimes’ preventive inspector, deans’ assistants, tutors, students and their parents took part in this meeting.
The first vice-rector opened the meeting with an introduction speech and thanked the meeting participants for being indifferent to the fate of their children. After that, the instructors told about the rules of the institute regarding the following proper behavior and dress code of students.
Parents were acquainted with students’ attendance to classes andtheir learning results. They emphasized the importance of preparing their children for the upcoming exams and helping them to spend their time meaningfully and usefully during the summer vacation. In turn, the parents thanked the teachers for providing knowledge to the students and supporting them in every step.
At the end, the parents of active students were awarded with letters of appreciation.
