Andijan State Medical Institute hosted a roundtable discussion on the prevention of crime and delinquency among young people. It was attended by acting Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs S. Salohiddinov and Deputy Head of the Crime Prevention Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel M. Mamirov.
The event focused on current issues such as crime and delinquency among young people, especially students, consumption and trade of psychotropic substances, corruption and extortion, assault on people, various games on the Internet, and tragic consequences of such cases. Z.Kholmatova, an officer of the Andijan City Department of Internal Affairs, also spoke about delinquency among female students and women, who are affected by family disputes.
