In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 5, 2021 No. PF-6221 “On the consistent continuation of reforms in the healthcare system and the creation of the necessary conditions for the advanced training of medical workers”, with the support of the Fund of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan to support and attract talented and qualified medical specialists, as well as the leadership of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Nephrology and Transplantology and Andijan State Medical Institute and the Clinic of the Institute, a group of medical workers, Associate Professor of the Department of General Surgery and Transplantation of ASMI, c.m.s. Bakhtiyor Matkarimov and surgeon of the 2nd surgical department of the ASMI clinic Jahangir Azizov are currently improving their qualifications at the Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology of the Republic of Belarus on the basis of a mutually signed memorandum.
Our specialists were warmly welcomed by the director of this center MD, Professor Rummo Oleg Olegovich, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Professor Kalachik Oleg Valentinovich, MD, Deputy Director for Medical Affairs, head of the training center Rusakova Nina Fedorovna, Doctor of Medical Sciences, as well as Professor Shturich Ivan Pavlovich, the Head of the Department of Transplantology, Associate Professor Komissarov Kirill Sergeevich, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Head of the Department of Nephrology and Kidney Transplantology.
The director of the center O.Rummo was conveyed the greetings of the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, Professor M.Madazimov, and the director of the center, in turn, invited the rector of our institute to this center in order to develop mutual scientific and practical cooperation between the institutes in the future.
