A regular meeting of the women’s committee was held in the conference hall of the institute, in which the pro-rector on work with youth M. Botirov, as well as employees of the institute took part.
At the very beginning, a report on the work done by the chairman of the women’s committee M. Juraeva was heard. In addition, the new chairman of the women’s committee was re-elected by secret ballot, the new chairman of “Olima ayollar” was elected by an open vote, and members of the women’s council were elected.
The head of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature announced the results of the vote, according to which 96 percent of the votes went to Gulhayo Kholmatova and she was appointed chairman of the women’s council and advisor to the rector for women’s affairs.
