A meeting with a group of qualified Indian doctors was held in Andijan State Medical Institute on April 8,2023.
Specialists of Indian clinic “Fortis, Noida” – Furkan Ahmad – transplantologist, Kumar Adesh -anesthesiologist, specialists Vivek VIJ, Singh Pankaj, Azizbek Mirzajonov – the head of Andijan regional health department, B.Abdullajonov – vice-rector for educational affairs of our institute, F.Rasulov – the head of International Cooperation Department took part in this meeting.
The “Fortis, Noida” clinic, managed by foreign specialists, is one of the most prestigious clinics in the world, it is considered a network of private wide-profile medical centers in India. It has 26 hospitals and more than 4,600 beds.
It has become the world’s leading clinic for liver, lung, kidney and other organ transplantation, oncology, neurosurgery, cardiology and robotic surgery.
The issues of exchange of experience and implementation of cooperation in a number of directions as well as the issue of opening a transplant center in Andijan State Medical Institute clinic have been discussed during conversation.
Foreign specialists promised to share their experience in training not only transplant surgeons, but also all types of specialists who conduct preparation for surgery and post-surgery control processes in kidney and liver transplantation. After these proposals and discussions, the parties agreed to sign a cooperation agreement at the beginning of the new week. At the end, our institute presented souvenirs to the guests.
The visit of Indian doctors in our region will last for several days, they will give advice to seriously ill patients.
