Andijan State Medical Institute held a roundtable discussion on the topic “Human rights and freedoms of citizens”. H.Zokirov, the Rector’s adviser , S.Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual-educational affairs, S.Ismailov, an employee of the anti-terrorism department of IA of Andijan region, deputy deans, professors, tutors and students participated in the event.
S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational affairs, opened the roundtable discussion with an introduction, talking about the reforms that are being implemented in our country today, and the referendum process that will be held on April 30.
After that, S. Ismailov, an employee of the anti-terrorism department of IA of Andijan region, spoke about the additions and changes made to the updated draft of the Constitution, and noted that everyone has the right to freedom of thoughts, speech and belief. He also emphasized the need to appreciate the peace and tranquility that prevails in our country today, fight with spirituality and enlightenment against the ideas of extremism, terrorism, vandalism and cruelty.
Next, Rector’s advisor H.Zokirov took the floor and spoke about the importance of students participating in the educational processes on time and mastering subjects. At the same time, he warned against using social networks effectively and not trusting various unfounded information. He noted that various science, sports and craft clubs are operating in the institute for meaningful organization of students’ free time, and all students and young people can use it equally effectively.
