“THE DAY OF OPEN DOORS” WAS HELD IN THE INSTITUTE

The report of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 10 dated August 23, 2023 approved the “Plan of events to be held as part of the “Anti-Corruption” month dedicated to December 9 – International Anti-Corruption Day”.

Within this month, a number of preventive measures are being organized at Andijan State Medical Institute. Among them, the “The Day of Open Doors” was held today at the institute, which was dedicated to such issues as ensuring transparency in the activities of organizations and institutions, preventing corruption risks, and eliminating them.

The event was opened by the rector of the institute, M. Madazimov, who spoke about the evil of corruption and the importance of joint action to prevent it.

In turn, vice-rector for academic affairs B. Abdullajonov touched on the ongoing work to ensure openness and transparency at the institute. S. Askarov, the head of the anti-corruption and compliance control system management department, introduced the activities of the department and made a presentation. M. Kadirbekova, a student of the Faculty of General Medicine, shared her opinions with her peers within the framework of the topic. During the event, videos showing the negative consequences of corruption were shown.

Students, teachers and students of public health technicum schools located in valley regions attached to the institute also took part in this event.

Within the framework of the event, the members of the admission commission working in the institute informed the students about the educational directions available in the institute. Also, the participants of the event got to know the inventions created by young scientists of the institute and their achievements.
