Today, on June 29, an international scientific-practical conference is held at Andijan State Medical Institute as part of the “Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan” forum.
The guests who visited it were solemnly welcomed with the dance “Andijan Polka” .
The conference was opened by the rector of the institute M. Madazimov with an introduction. He spoke about the development of cooperation between the two countries in many fields, including issues of strong cooperation in the field of medicine, and wished success to the work of the conference.
Members of the delegation under the leadership of the president of the society of minimally invasive surgeons of Azerbaijan K. Muslimov, the team of the institute and students took part in this conference .
Professor K. Muslimov gave a lecture on “Latest innovations in the field of laparoscopic surgery”. Dr. Z. Azadova, Dr., PhD F. Refiyev, Dr. N. Alyshev delivered lectures on “Bariatric surgery today and its prospects”, “Today and the future of invasive radiology”, “Fundamentals of minimally invasive surgery”.
During the conference, in order to adequately reward his contributions to the establishment of scientific cooperation and establishing mutual friendship the President of the Society of Minimally Invasive Surgeons of Azerbaijan, Kurbankhan Muslimov, was awarded the title of “Honorary Professor” of Andijan State Medical Institute .
The honorary title was awarded by the rector of the institute, Professor M. Madazimov. Professor K. Muslimov expressed his gratitude for such attention and high title and noted that he will be active in implementing more effective cooperation in the future.
