Today, on June 6, “Initiative Women of New Uzbekistan” national competition has been held in order to create an opportunity for female employees working in Andijan State Medical Institute to demonstrate their abilities, to support their talents with the initiative of the Women’s Department of the Institute.
The competition was participated by four teams: “Linguists” formed by teachers from two Language Departments, “Elegant Ladies” consisting of staff and lecturers from the Education Department, “Medical Scholars” formed by staff from the Information Resource Center and “Uzbek Beauties” made up of tutors.
The Jury included the vice-rector for academic affairs of the Institute B. Abdullajonov, the leading specialist of the regional department of the Committee for Religious Affairs in charge of Spiritual Affairs F. Rustamova, the representative of non-state organization and the head of the public support fund for other institutes in the presence of Andijan regional council deputy Z. Ismoilova, adviser on women’s issues to the Institute’s rector G. Kholmatova and the responsible dean for medical prevention S. Kholmirzayeva.
During the event M. Madazimov, the rector of the Institute expressed his sincere gratitude to all participants. He emphasized the significant role of women in modern society, their contribution to family welfare and their active involvement in professional development. He wished success in the competition.
After that groups introduced themselves and demonstrated their respect for national values and discussed issues related to freedom of expression. The presentations were intriguing, rich in content, and demonstrated respect for national values and criticized some current problems.
Based on the final results, active participants were awarded cash prizes of 500,000 Uzbek som for nominations such as “Most Talented Lady”, “Most Entrepreneurial Lady”, “Most Active Woman” and “Most Exemplary Woman”.
The results of the contest were as follows: with equal score, “Lingvist” and “Uzbek Beauties” team took the 1st place, “Elegant Ladies” team took the 3rd place for high activity.
The winning teams were awarded diplomas and cash prizes in the amount of 6,000,000 (six million) soums for the 1st place, 3,000,000 (three million) soums for the 3rd place.
