Bioengineer Roger Schmitt, who worked as the head of the medical equipment management department at the headquarters of the World Health Organization, and who was an expert of German international cooperation projects in Uzbekistan in 2011-2019, met with the rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M. Madazimov.
The process of training organization and cooperation issues were discussed there. This was followed by the first day of an 18-hour training course by bioengineer Roger Schmitt on successful planning, effective use and maintenance of medical equipment, training of medical staff. N. Murotova, associate professor of the department of medical technology and innovative technologies, doctor of philology in public health of the Center for development of professional competence of medical personnel (CDPCMP), assistant of the department of medical technology and innovative technologies, master-student bioengineer J. Urolboyev, M. Adilova, head of the laparoscopy training program, Samarkand regional perinatal center, K. Salohiddinov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of the institute, directors and deputy directors of multidisciplinary medical centers of all regions, and students participated in the event.
In the course of the training, the expert provided interesting and useful information and answered the questions of the participants.
