The Republican scientific-practical conference on “Actual problems of some infectious diseases” was held with the participation of foreign scientists in honour one of the founders of the Department of Infectious Diseases of Andijan State Medical Institute, Head of the Department, doctor of Medical Sciences, professor K.M. Mirzaev.
The rector of the Institute M.Madazimov, Deputy Director for Clinical Work of the Moscow Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology of Rospotrebnadzor named after G.N. Abrichevsky, Ph.D. Ruzhensova T., Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Dermatovenereology of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, Professor Abuova G., specialists from infectious diseases medical institutions in Andijan, Fergana and Namangan, as well as members of the teacher’s family.
Within the framework of the conference, lectures on “Life and scientific activity of K.M. Mirzaeva”, “Modern approaches to the treatment of diarrheal syndrome”, “Correction of intestinal microflora disorders in patients with viral cirrhosis of the liver”. Moreover , the views of experts on topics were heard.
In addition, the institute staff organized an iftar dinner for family members, relatives, colleagues and students of K. Mirzaev. Over a cup of tea, they exchanged views on the life and pedagogical process of the teacher, the scientific legacy that he left to his students.
