In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for the further development of the higher education system”, each higher education institution should establish close cooperation with the leading scientific and educational institutions of the world. -pedagogical activities, master classes, advanced training courses, internships for masters, young teachers and researchers of higher educational institutions of the republic on a systematic basis. Andijan State Medical Institute is actively working with foreign universities to organize retraining and advanced training of the teaching staff. On March 11-12, the Rector of the Korea State University of Railway Transport, Professor Junhun Pak, Dean of the International Exchange Center, Professor Dong Min Shin, Dean of the Computer Information Center visited Andijan State Medical Institute. The ceremony was attended by Professor Jungwon Kang and Professor Ryum Dak Oh, who signed a memorandum of understanding to open a faculty at Andijan State Medical Institute based on a joint program in the field of paramedicine.
The memorandum signed between the two partner high educational institutions provides not only joint education, but also the development of biotechnology within the framework of cooperation, scientific research between the two countries, the exchange of students and teachers.
