The Department of Spirituality and Enlightenment and the Department of Optional Dentistry and Prevention of Dental Diseases organized a literary and artistic event dedicated to the 67th anniversary of the People’s Poet of Uzbekistan Muhammad Yusuf. The Rector of the institute M. Madazimov, the Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs M. Botirov as well as the director of the ArtSchool named after Muhammad Yusuf Sh. Nurmatova took part in it.
Opening the event, the Rector of the institute noted that today, art and vocational schools are being established to further enhance the talents and potential of young people, to educate them in the field of their choice. The Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs opened the poetry evening with a poem by Muhammad Yusuf, stating that he is passionate about creativity and art. The director of the ArtSchool named after Muhammad Yusufshared her thoughts on the students’ talents, knowledge and success in the educational process.
During the event, students mentioned the “O’tgan Kunlar” by Abdulla Kadiri. The interpretation of the images of Kumush, Zaynab and Otabek in the poems of Muhammad Yusuf seemed to call everyone to the past again. The pupils of the ArtSchool A. Abdurahmonov, M. Polatova, Sh. Rustamjanov, G. Davronbekova and the students of the Faculty of Dentistry O. Tadjibaeva, U. Hakimov, M. Umarkhodjaeva recited the poems of the poet. The poems such as “Kizgaldoq”, “Gulim”, “Nega yiglamaysan, ahli Andijon” were recited by young peoplewith greatinvolvement. The poet Mirzohid Botirov also recited samples from his poems.
At the end of the event, the pupils of the Art School were presented with a new book by M. Batirov”Derazangni och”.
