The anti-drug campaign group “Nurafshon” began its activity, which includes deputy deans of faculties, teachers, professors, employees, activists of the primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and students of Andijan State Medical Institute. At the “Thanksgiving morning event”, students were given detailed information about this advocacy group and young volunteers were invited.
The event also touched upon such topics as the prevention of smoking and drug use among young people, the impact of negative ailments on human health and life, as well as how students spend their free time in various sports and scientific clubs. At the end of the event, the participants were given booklets campaigning against drug addiction.
