A number of measures have been taken to ensure the implementation of the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to improve and expand the scope of the endocrinological service” and “On measures to improve the quality of prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases”. In particular, family doctors of medical brigades are being trained in family polyclinics and multidisciplinary central polyclinics of Andijan and Namangan regions by professors and teachers of the faculty of advanced training and retraining of doctors of Andijan State Medical Institute, for the prevention, early detection, treatment and primary care of endocrine and cardiac diseases.
