Today, on January 13th, a festive event titled “You are Honest, Initiative, and Active in Your Profession!” was organized by the Women’s Affairs Department at Andijan State Medical Institute in celebration of the 33rd anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and January 14th – Defender of the Motherland Day.
The event was opened by the rector of the institute, M. Madazimov, who congratulated all male leaders, staff, and students on the occasion of the holiday. Following this, G. Kholmatova, the advisor to the rector on women’s issues, also congratulated the participants and presented holiday gifts on behalf of the women of the institute. Traditional Uzbek skullcaps seemed to inspire them with even more determination and resolve.
The event began with a song praising the military, followed by a quiz where pro-rectors answered questions with remarkable cleverness. The chain of conditions continued with deans and tutors. Gift prizes were also awarded to the sharp-witted participants.
Women who can show initiative in every endeavor presented humorous performances. Additionally, singers from Andijan regional branch of the Uzbekistan Philharmonic performed patriotic songs that celebrated the homeland.
