❗️The Law “On the State Border of the Republic of Uzbekistan” (LRU No.868 dated September 13, 2023) was signed by the President.
🔰According to the law, the determination and change of the state border is carried out by the chambers of the Oliy Majlis.
📝 The state border is marked with clearly visible border signs.
🏢 According to the law, the State Security Service implements a unified state policy in the field of security and defense of the state border.
📋Crossing the state border is carried out as follows:
🔹on land, in border rivers, lakes and other bodies of water – in places designated for crossing the state border of international railways, highways, rivers and other roads;
🔹in the sky zone – at places where international highways cross the State border or along air corridors intended for these purposes.
🚫 When moving persons and vehicles from the State Border to road and railway checkpoints or in the opposite direction, it is prohibited:
➖to change the indicated direction;
– boarding of people, loading of goods and unloading of people and goods from vehicles;
– to take off, land or receive any aircraft or unmanned aerial vehicles.
📁 In the border region, additional regime restrictions and prohibitions may be established on:
▫️entry of foreigners into the border region;
▫️ enter areas of economic and other activities;
▫️approach of watercraft to border rivers, lakes and other bodies of water.
☑️Permits to enter (exit) transshipment points for persons engaged in economic and other activities are issued by the Border Service or the relevant organization under the Ministry of Transport.
