In order to ensure the implementation of the decision of the head of our state “On measures to accelerate the introduction of renewable energy sources and energy-saving technologies in 2023”, large-scale work is being carried out at Andijan State Medical Institute.
In order to fully cover the institute’s need for electricity, solar panels with a capacity of 500 kW were installed on the roofs of the educational laboratory, IRC and student dormitories. At the same time, a mini-hydroelectric power station was installed on the stream near the institute, which makes it possible to receive 250-400 kW of electricity per day.
Madaminjon Madazimov, rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, set a personal example and installed 5 kW solar panels in his house.
The rector of the institute said that these solar panels can fully cover the needs of a household in electricity, and can generate income by selling surplus.
