Today, on January 15, the Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, M. Madazimov, got acquainted with the ongoing works at the institute’s clinic.
The reconstruction of the ASMI clinic was designated by the Resolution No. 713 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 25, 2021. A project estimate of 349.621 billion soums was allocated for construction and reconstruction works, with 196.445 billion soums fully allocated from budget funds for the years 2021-2024, during which construction and reconstruction activities were carried out.
Starting from 2025, the reconstruction works are planned to be carried out at the expense of Andijan State Medical Institute, as stipulated in the Resolution No. PQ-395 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 18, 2024.
Currently, works are underway including finishing in the buildings, installation of boilers and pumps in the new boiler house, laying electrical cables, preparation for the installation of oxygen production equipment, finishing in the connecting passageway between blocks, welding and insulating pipes for the external circuit of the cold chiller system, installation of aluminum-plastic composite doors and frames in the blocks, laying and insulating water pipes, demolishing partition walls between rooms in the blocks, laying communications (electricity, cold and hot water, sewage), laying heating system pipes outside the building, and installation of solar panels on the roof of block 13.
The rector got acquainted with these processes and gave necessary instructions to the responsible personnel to address existing issues.
