Rector of Andijan State Medical Institute M.Madazimov met with young people in the hostel.
The main purpose of the conversation was the tasks set by the President at a video conference on measures to improve the living standards of students of higher education institutions and the opportunities created for students. In particular, the rector of the institute is exempted from income tax by the President, who organizes paid training courses, sports clubs and other services in the territory of universities, allocates credit resources for projects of students in higher education, as an exception. He instructed the government to form at least 40 percent of the research project teams at the expense of students and to create a number of other conditions for students.
The rector then shared the youth’s interests and future goals. Today, after classes, he spoke with students who are working as interns at various hospitals, and expressed his willingness to support them in what they need.
He got acquainted with the views of children from families in need, especially those who expressed a desire to work. He stressed the need to create conditions for them to earn extra income and work. He instructed the deans of the faculty and their deputies to compile a list of these students.
The rector of the institute also inspected the conditions in the gym and mini-football arena. He also talked to students involved in sports. He listened to their suggestions on what other sports equipment and clubs should be organized, and assigned a number of tasks to sports coaches.
During the meeting, all students’ opinions and suggestions were heard. The problems that plagued some students have been resolved. The students expressed their gratitude for the closeness and care of such meetings, which are regularly organized by the rector.
