April 7 – On the occasion of the World Health Day, the Alisher Navoi Park is hosting a “Health Festival” for Andijan residents. Along with medical institutions of the region, the team of Andijan State Medical Institute is worthily participating in it. More than 40 qualified professors and doctors of 21 different specialties are examining the health of the population. Ultrasound, ECG, and laboratory tests were also provided. Patients are given the necessary advice on the analysis. Especially our elderlies, who could not come to the examinations and were brought by their relatives in cars, are provided with on-site services by our specialists. In this regard, rector Madazimov took the initiative and got acquainted with the process.
The Young Volunteers team is also showing our citizens how to provide first aid through practical procedures. Booklets on healthy lifestyles and nutrition are being distributed. Innovative projects created by our talented students do not leave our people indifferent. In particular, the exhibition of medical science books and fiction is at the service of our people.
In addition to medical examinations, various sports and national dances are performed during the procession, which is held to the sound of trumpets.
