Tursunov Sayfitdin Yunusovich was such a sincere and respected teacher. He was born on February 28, 1939 in Izbaskan district. From 1956 to 1962 he studied at Andijan State Medical Institute. From 1962 to 1964 he worked as a clinical resident of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases, assistant of the department, associate professor, professor and head of the department for more than 30 years.
The textbook on Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases, co-authored by S. Tursunov, a scientist of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a member of the New York Academy of Sciences, serves as a manual for students of all medical institutes of the republic. He has published more than 10 spiritual pamphlets and books of poetry.
More than 20 doctoral and 50 candidate dissertations have been successfully defended at the Central Asian Scientific School of Preventive Cardiology, founded by the teacher. Cooperation has been established with leading scientists from Ukraine, Russian Federation, Poland, India, Kyrgyzstan and South Korea.
In 2009, Tursunov was awarded the Order of “El-Yurt Hurmati” for his services in the field of health, science and education. The experienced leader and skilled physician died on January 9, 2021 at the age of 82.

His good deeds were also remembered and prayers were offered for him.
