As you know, by the decision No. 605 of Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, beginning from May 1, 2021, the state pays 50% of the monthly rent to by 60% of students of higher educational institutions who live on the basis of the right to rent in a house that is not covered by a dormitory and does not belong to itself, including its parents (legal representatives from the state budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In particular, Andijan State Medical Institute is actively working in this area. Now 50% of the monthly rent is paid to 867 students of the institute. On April 12,2023, a meeting of the commission on the issues of students’ living conditions and attracting other students to rented apartments has been held.
S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational work, deans’ assistants of faculties and tutors took part in the meeting. At the beginning of the meeting D. Matmusayev, the responsible person for coordinating the provision of accommodation for students, delivered his report of the work carried out until now.
After that, the participants of the meeting spoke about the defects of the conditions in the students’ rented apartments revealed by the commission. Tasks for their elimination as well as plans for future work have been determined.
