For the first time in the history of Andijan, a kidney transplant was performed. This operation was attended by the head of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery and Kidney Transplantation of the Republican Scientific Surgical Center named after Academician V.Vokhidov, Professor F.Bakhriddinov, docent of the Department of General Surgery of ASMI B.Matkarimov and leading specialists. At present, the patient’s condition is satisfactory.
Today, at the conference hall, by the Department of General Surgery the lectures were delivered on the topic “Actual issues of high-tech innovative practical surgery.” Lectures were delivered by Z.Matkarimov and B.Matkarimov, in which the speakers introduced the participants to kidney transplantation, indications for transplantation, the degree of development of renal failure, the end stage of chronic renal failure.
