In connection with the 31st anniversary of Independence, an event was held at Andijan State Medical Institute under the motto “In the new Uzbekistan, the people are dear, the people are dear.” It was attended by the chairman of the regional department of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, the poetess Khurshida Vakhob kizi, tutors, students and employees of the Information Resource Center. First, the poetess congratulated the participants on the upcoming Independence Day and read from her poems.
The participants of the event also read poems about the motherland, mothers in Uzbek, Russian and English. This meeting was turned out to be truly an evening of poetry.
