These days an extended activity is being carried out throughout our republic, especially in our region, to promote a healthy lifestyle to the population.
In volunteer students and young people from Andijan State Medical Institute started volunteering in the field of health care, that is, in issues such as medical culture, healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition and personal hygiene.
For several years, the members of the “Volunteers” group have been carrying out propaganda work in the densely populated areas and neighborhoods of districts and cities. At the beginning of the current academic year the governor of the region Sh. Abdurahmanov met with the students admitted to the first year of our institute and communicated closely. The future plans of the students, the issues of quality education and the tasks of accelerating the activities of the “Volunteers” group, which consists of volunteer students and young people, were also defined in order to direct the next generation to organize a healthy lifestyle among the population in accordance with the priorities facing the future generation.
Today, the “Volunteers” group held promotional events at the 3rd general secondary school in Andijan and at “Eski Shahar” farmer’s market. The students informed the representatives of the population about the simple but very important rules of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, explained that proper nutrition is of special importance not only for human health, but also for his good mood and increasing enthusiasm for work. At the end of the event, handouts containing products useful for the human body and their standards were presented.
