As part of the INNOWEEK-2023 week, an online dialogue has been held between Andijan State Medical Institute and the University of Malaya to strengthen mutual cooperation.
K. Salohiddinov, vice-rector of scientific affairs and innovations, K. Isaqov, the head of Education Affairs Department, G. Yakhshiboyeva, the dean of the International Faculty, Tun MD Raus Sharif, acting rector of the University of Malaya, professor Kiew Lik Voon, dean of General Medicine Faculty and Tengku Ain Fathium, the head of International Students’ Mobility participated in the ceremony.
During the dialogue the parties discussed students’ exchange, joint scientific work, organization of summer camps for students, short-term and long-term mobility of students and institute employees. It was noted that the specialists of the two higher institutions are always ready to hold conferences, seminars and trainings in cooperation.
In addition, it was planned to organize a one-year training course for conducting research and carrying out collaborative research in 4 areas: oncology, hematology, onco-hematology and surgery.
