It is very important to educate our girls, who are the successors of our nation, and to create opportunities for them to be knowledgeable and intelligent, to be enlightened, spiritual, intelligent and wise. That’s why the future bof our nation in hands of the girls who are getting education today.
On December 19, 2011, declared October 11 as “International Day of the Young Girls” according to the resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations in order to empower girls and help realize their rights. Since 2012, this day has been celebrated every year in different countries around the world in order to pay attention to the social problems of girls.
In connection with this date, a holiday event was organized for smart and pretty girls in Andijan State Medical Institute. At the beginning of the event S. Salohiddinov, the first vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational work congratulated all the participants with the holiday.
G. Kholmatova, rector’s advisor on women’s issues, hairman of the Institute’s women’s advisory council, spoke the next and congratulated all the girls on the occasion of the holiday and wished them good luck and success in their future studies and professional activities.
After that, 15 female students who achieved high results among their peers, demonstrating activity with their initiative, inquisitiveness, and aspirations were awarded with certificates of honor from the rector of the institute and cash prizes in the amount of one month’s scholarship. The winners of “Zakovat” intellectual game were awarded with 1,000,000 (one million) soums for the 1st place, vouchers for 500,000 ( five hundred thousand) were handed over.
In the artistic part of the event, the well-known singers and dancers of Andijan regional philharmonic created an excited mood with their lively songs and dances. Talented and artistic students of our institute also demonstrated interesting and artistic performances.
The festive event, which was held in a cheerful spirit, was equally enjoyed by all the participants and guests.
