Andijan State Medical Institute hosted an international scientific-practical conference on “Small invasive surgery of the colon.” The two-day conference was attended online by leading experts from Russia, Dubai, Kazakhstan, India and Uzbekistan.
On the first day of the conference, K. Salokhiddinov, pro-rector on Scientific Affairs and Innovation of Andijan State Medical Institute, noted the importance of international and scientific conferences in the field of medicine, as well as the exchange of experience.
Opening the conference, Professor of Astana Medical University A. Fursov said that the cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, especially with Andijan State Medical Institute, continues.
Thirteen experts presented their papers at the conference. The speakers presented anatomical and physiological information about the colon, methods and classification of diseases of the colon, disease clinic, diagnosis and comparative diagnosis, guidelines for surgical treatment , expressed their experiences and opinions on issues such as choosing the type of operation.
On the second day of the conference, colleagues, professors, teachers and students conducted a seminar-training.
