In the online video conference, which was organized in cooperation of the Regional Office for Europe of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, experts from Tashkent Institute of Advanced Training of Physicians, Andijan State Medical Institute and Tashkent Medical Academy exchanged views on the fight against coronavirus.
Dean of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Physicians of Andijan State Medical Institute H. Tursunov made a report on the work done and measures taken in the field of training of doctors and reserve staff – infectious disease specialists, epidemiologists, PTsR laboratory assistants, anesthesiologists, training of midwives and nurses in order to combat coronavirus infection in the Fergana Valley.
The speaker provided analytical data on patients with cornovirus in Andijan, Fergana and Namangan regions.
At the end of the online conference there were questions and answers. The participants of the online video conference expressed their views on the topic, and the issues raised were discussed.
