13 march the online international conference on « Topical issues of colon surgery » continues. It is attended by speakers from Russia, Ukraine, and the leading abdominal surgeons of our country.
First, the conference was opened by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovations of our institute G. Khojimatov. After that, the head of the Department of Hospital Surgery of Andijan State Medical Institute, Professor E. Jumaboev made a report on “Regional lymphatic therapy in the treatment of patients with colon cancer complicated by its acute obstruction”, S. Haydarov delivered a lecture on “New methods for determining the level of resection of the large intestine in ulcerative colitis”, U. Hamraev from Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute reported on “Transanal endorectal reduction of the large intestine in the distal form of Hirschsprung’s disease in infants”, Sh. Jo’raev – on “Features of tactical approaches to the treatment of hemorrhoids in children”, D. Rakhmonov from Samarkand State Medical Institute made a report on “Surgical correction of postoperative anal sphincter insufficiency in children”. Also, Professor of the Department of General Surgery of our institute Yu. Egamov conducted a training session on “Left-sided hemicolectomy in colostasis”.
During the conference, experts exchanged views on the practice of abdominal surgery.
