On May 14, 2019, in Andijan State Medical Institute was held the 3rd and 4th stages of the Republican Olympiad on Surgery. The students checked their theoretical knowledge and skills with tests at simulation and educational centers of laparoscopy.
There, students will be able to choose surgical instruments, put stitches, put stitches in intestines, function the pleural cavity, indirect massage of the heart, and make an artificial respiration through lungs through ambo bags in moulages.
At the Simulation Training Center, the skills and abilities of the Olympiads were monitored on the central screen by all the observers: guests, participants, and their teachers.
At Endosurgery Center, processes such as formation of the extracorporeal bone, the formation of the Reder structure and endostich, the transmission of the ring were performed. The comments to the Olympians about each motion and process were honestly appreciated by the members of the judge.
Solemn ceremony of the Olympiad took place on the same day. Vice-rector for Academic Affairs of the Institute, professor A. Arzikulov made a speech and expressed his sincere opinions about all the participants. On behalf of the jury members, professor F.Nishonov, head of the Department of Surgery and Urology, announced the winners. According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners of the Republican Olympiad were selected on surgery.

Students of Bobur Abduvoitov (Samarkand State Medical Institute), Ibodjon Ismailov (Bukhara State Medical Institute), Ajiniyaz Alimbetov (Nukus branch of Tashkent pediatric medical institute), Alisher Marksov (Urgench branch of Tashkent Medical Academy) have been encouraged. The winners were awarded with diplomas, prizes and bouquets. The Olympians were satisfied with the high scientific spirit and were glad that they had acquired knowledgeable and talented friends and returned to their homeland with excellent mood and pleasant impressions.
