Today, on December 27, a regular scientific council meeting was held at Andijan State Medical Institute.
Initially, several achievements were recognized, and professors and teachers who were awarded academic titles and degrees, as well as young individuals who won international competitions and olympiads, were honored. In particular, Sh. Mamajonov, the head of Andijan region Health Department, congratulated Professor K. Kosimov, the head of the Department of Otolaryngology at Andijan State Medical Institute, for securing 1st place in the “Best Otolaryngologist of the Year” nomination in the “Best Doctor of the Year” contest organized by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republican Council of the Ministry’s trade union.
The rector of the institute, M. Madazimov, warmly congratulated the institute’s team on these achievements and wished them success and victories in their pursuit of academic excellence. He particularly acknowledged the accomplishments achieved in the outgoing year of 2024 and emphasized that these achievements would pave the way for even greater heights in the future. The rector congratulated all members of the institute on the upcoming year of 2025 and wished them luck and success.
Following this, reports were presented regarding the results of scientific research activities at the institute in 2024 and the scientific work plan set for 2025. Reports were also heard regarding the “Current and Major Repair Works Conducted at the Institute during the 2023-2024 Academic Year.” The reports from the chairs of the specialization councils were listened to.
Additionally, during the scientific council meeting, proposals and feedback were shared regarding the establishment of joint educational programs in collaboration with foreign higher education institutions that hold high positions in global rankings.
