At the beginning of the meeting, a number of professors and students were awarded orders and medals established by the President on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A number of professors and teachers who have defended their scientific works in the field of medicine were also awarded and encouraged.
Following the awards ceremony, the issues on the agenda were discussed. The rector of the institute M.Madazimov and vice-rectors spoke about the preparations for the new academic year, the readiness of classrooms, the conditions created for students in the dormitory, the state of scientific and art books, textbooks and gave relevant instructions to the responsible leaders.
The staff and students of the institute were also instructed to adhere to the dress code, follow the quarantine rules and prevent corruption in the process of work and study.
