A scientific and practical conference was held with the participation of Dinesh Penkharkar Yashvaant Rao, the leading oncologist of India, Director of Sarvodya Hospital and Cancer Institute. The conference, organized by the Department of Oncology and Medical Radiology, was attended by the 5-6th year students of the Faculty of Therapy, master-students, clinical residents and professors of the institute. During the event, the Indian expert gave a lecture on “Cancer Biology, Modern Testing Methods and Targeted Treatment Principles in the Prevention and Early Detection of Malignant Tumors” and conducted practical classes with students.
