A round table discussion was held with the participation of the leadership and employees of Andijan State Medical Institute on “”Corruption hinders progress”” on the issues of raising legal awareness and legal culture, combating and preventing corruption
It was attended by the head of the regional department of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General’s Office N. Abdusattorov.
The event was opened by the rector of the institute M.Madazimov, who noted that the main purpose of the campaign is to further enrich the legal literacy of staff, train qualified medical personnel, provide with qualified medical services to the population.
In addition, the expert informed about the fight against corruption and its prevention, timely detection of corruption offenses, their elimination, their consequences, elimination of possible causes and conditions, the inevitability of liability for corruption offenses.
S.Askarov, the head of the anti-corruption and compliance control system management department explained that the institute has established a system of seminars and roundtables to prevent corruption among staff and students, abuse of office and corruption as well as reported about the implementation of measures.
At the end of the event, participants provided additional feedback. Their questions were answered in detail by experts.
