Events dedicated to the birthday of the great commander, king and poet Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur are underway. The event under the motto “We are descendants of the great Babur” was organized in a high mood.
The event was attended by Z.Mashrapov, the chairman of the International Babur Public Foundation named after Babur, H.Boltaboyev, head of the department of the National University of Uzbekistan, Afghan Bobur scholar Shafikahonim Yorkin, head of the regional branch of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, poet Khurshidabonu. They gave examples of the life and work of our scholar, his experiences in defending his homeland, his trip to India, and the history of the writing of his works. Speaking at the event, the rector of the institute M.Madazimov also shared his views on the current activities of the institution, the participation of talented students.
The students recited ghazals and rubais written by the poet, and all participants enjoyed listening to melodies based on the poet’s ghazals. The scene that featured the conversation between Babur and his sister Khonzodabegim was especially pleasing to the guests.
