The scientific and practical conference on the prevention and treatment of diabetic diseases, organized by the Department of Ophthalmology of Andijan State Medical Institute, the Society of Ophthalmologists of Andijan region and the Department of Hospital Therapy and Endocrinology, was attended by employees of these departments, doctoral students, independent applicants and ophthalmologists from Andijan.
Professor of the Department of Ophthalmology of the Center for the Development of Professional Training of Medical Personnel Nargiza Normatova and laser surgeon, retinologist of the Ukrainian Ophthalmological Center “Zinitsiy Dnepr” Vadim Pecheriy made reports at the conference. In addition, their views on the complications of diabetes mellitus and their impact on visual function were expressed by the chairman of the society of ophthalmologists Sh.Kodirov and other specialists.
