The 2nd meeting of the Society of Plastic Surgeons of Uzbekistan was held in the Conference Hall of Andijan State Medical Institute for masters students, clinical residents, graduate students, assistants of surgical departments and members of the Society of Plastic Surgeons of Uzbekistan.
First, at the ceremony of welcoming the guests, the unique dance “Andijan Polka” was skillfully performed by our students as well as young children. Then the guests were given detailed information about the project of the clinic of Andijan State Medical Institute and the activities of our talented students.
In his opening speech, the rector of the institute, M. Madazimov, spoke about the structure of the Society of Plastic Surgeons of Uzbekistan, its members, achievements, works and experiences.
At the meeting, the lectures on the topics “Aesthetic blepharoplasty, mammoplasty, abdominoplasty”, “Prospects of development of children’s plastic surgery in Uzbekistan”, “Extensive defects of the head and neck: from traditional plastic surgery to microsurgery”, “Reconstructive operations of the jaws”, “Features of rhinoplasty with scoliosis” were delivered by specialists.
