In order to ensure the implementation of the Decisions and decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the protection of motherhood and childhood and the protection of reproductive health of the population”, and to prevent the death of mothers and children in Andijan region, professors and teachers of Andijan State Medical Institute held a seminar for family doctors and specialists of Marhamat district. The seminar was opened by the head of the district medical association Z. Umarov and informed the participants about the work carried out in the district on the above issue and their further development. He spoke about the condition during 6 months and its analysis. The head of the Faculty of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of doctors PhD O.Yakubova made a report about the world’s experience on “Organization of medical services for pregnant women and prevention of maternal mortality”
M. Rakhmatova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Family Physicians, and Z. Mirzaeva, Assistant at the Department of Hospital Pediatrics, focused on the treatment of the disease on an outpatient and inpatient basis and its prevention on the topic “Pheumonia in children”, which is currently the most common cause death of children.
