A comprehensive medical examination was conducted with the participation of qualified specialists from Andijan State Medical Institute in Dolan MCG of Shahrikhan district. More than 35 specialists were involved in the medical examination, and medical supervision of patients belonging to the 3rd and 4th disability groups in the region was carried out.
During the examinations, specialists visited the patients who were lying at home. After appropriate examinations, recommendations were given to patients.
Also, Sh. Yusupova, the head of the department of Hospital Therapy and Endocrinology, organized a training seminar for family doctors on the topic “Diagnosis of prediabetes and diabetes, screening rules, principles of treatment”, in which concepts were given on the prevention of endocrinological diseases, their early detection and implementation of management programs.
11 of the patients identified during the medical examination were referred for treatment in the regional medical institutions, 26 – in the district central hospital, and 178 in outpatient settings. Patients scheduled for outpatient treatment were provided with appropriate medicines. Also, 201 citizens over 40 years of age were examined for prevention of endocrinological diseases.
During the event, the “Young Volunteers” team also participated and conducted promotion programs among the population on healthy lifestyle and adherence to the rules of proper nutrition.
