Peace be with you, teachers who enlighten the world with every word! For several years now, we have been celebrating October 1 – the Day of Teachers and Mentors.
Congratulations to our teachers who bring the light of goodness to thousands of young souls and give their students a school of life. Indeed, every path you show us sheds light on our future. That is why we try to be like you throughout our lives.
Professors and teachers of the Andijan State Medical Institute are experienced doctors, as well as enthusiastic teachers. Today, 815 professors and teachers work at our institute, of which 40 are doctors of science, 195 are candidates of science. This year, 12 doctoral (PhD) and 1 doctoral (DSc) dissertations have been successfully defended. At the scientific seminar, 4 doctoral dissertations were considered and are being prepared for defense.
Also, during the 2021-2022 academic year, the work of professors and teachers, Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology and Medical Biotechnology Kurbanova Diloramkhon Ibragimjon kizi was rewarded with the Healthy Lifestyle medal, Head of the Department of Social Hygiene Babich Svetlana Mikhailovna, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Neonatology Yakubova Altinoy Abduganiyevna, Associate Professor of the 1st Department of Advanced Training of Physicians Joraeva Mokhigul Azimjanovna, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Traumatology, Orthopedics and Neurosurgery Mamadjonov Kamiljon Khasanbaevich, Associate Professor of the Department of Pediatric Surgery Toychiev Golibjon Ormonjonovich were awarded the medal “Excellent Health Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. Today, students of such skillful masters of their craft and tolerant teachers are laureates of the State Prize, holders of well-known scholarships, winners of republican and international competitions and defend the honor of our educational institution.
In our institution, the work of each professor is not left without attention. This time, on the occasion of October 1 – the holiday “Teacher’s and Mentor’s Day”, 1,271 professors and teachers, as well as all employees who work selflessly, are rewarded with a cash prize equal to the amount of wages from extra-budgetary funds.
