DEPARTMENT OF NEONATOLOGY AT THE FACULTY OF ADVANCED TRAINING AND RETRAINING OF PHYSICIANS
Department of Neonatology of the faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Physicians was founded in 1991. Initially, it was a course of neonatology, since 1996 it has got the status of the Department of Neonatology at the Faculty of
Advanced Training of Physicians.
From 1991 to 1997, the position of head of the department was carried out by candidate of medical sciences, doctor of the highest category M.M.Madaminova.
In the years 1997-2002 the position of head of the department was carried out by candidate of medical sciences, doctor of the highest category B.E.Begmatov, from 2002 to 2012 the position of head of the department was carried out by associate professor Khidoyat Asimovna Khusanova, from 2013 to 2017 the position of head of the department was carried out by associate professor D.A.Ergashboyeva. From January 2018 to May 2018 at the position of head of the department worked Kh.A. Khusanova. Starting from December 2018, the department is headed by the associate professor D.A.Ergashboeva.
Department of Neonatology at the faculty of Advanced Training and Retraining of Physicians is located on the basis of children’s hospital № 1 in the city of Andijan, which is since 1996 considered as the “Regional Center of Neonatology”, where up to the present the department staff actively conducts advisory and therapeutic activities.
M.M. Madaminova together with the talented followers, laid the foundation for the Andijan school of neonatologists.
During this time, the following members of the department carried out their activities at the department: SH.K.Sattarova, G.R.Adilova, Rosa Nurgaliyeva, Farziya Djabbarova, Mukhabbat Mukhammadjanova.
The candidate dissertations were defended: in 1993 – associate Professor B.E. Begmatov, in 1998 – associate Professor Kh.A.Husanova , in 2012 – B.B.Inakova and D.A.Ergashboyeva.
Under the leadership of Kh.A. Khusanova more than 20 clinical residents underwent practical training. Associate Professor Kh.A. Khusanova, the author of 20 rationalization implementations and acts of implementations in practice, author of 4 textbooks and more than 40 teaching and methodical manuals. Since 2002, she is the Secretary of the Scientific Society of ASMI.
3 associate professors (Kh.A. Khusanova, D.A. Ergashboeva, B.E. Begmatov), a senior teacher (G. R. Adilova) carry out their activities in the department. G. R. Adilova has been conducting her scientific research as an independent scientific applicant.
