A thorough medical examination was carried out by 14 specialists of Andijan State Medical Institute in the district of Bakhtiyar. they examined the health of 785 residents and gave the necessary instructions to patients.
Also, within the framework of an innovative project on “reducing the risk factors of cardiovascular diseases in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 and prediabetes” approved by the Ministry of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, screening tests were also carried out among 94 residents.
During the event, the “young valontyors” team of the institute also took part in the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and healthy nutrition, physical activity among the population.
