In order to comprehensively strengthen the primary medical and sanitary assistance to the population, improve the health index of the population and reduce the level of common diseases, the qualified professors and teachers of Andijan State Medical Institute conducted a comprehensive medical examination on March 27, 2023 at the family polyclinic No.31 of Marhamat district.
16 employees of the institute with 12 types of specialties participated in this event, and 430 citizens included in groups 3-4 in terms of health underwent medical examination. During the examinations, 132 patients were referred for outpatient treatment, 17 patients were referred to the district central hospital, and 4 patients were referred to regional treatment facilities. Free medicines were distributed to 38 patients.
During the medical examination, 105 UTT and 82 ECG, 52 laboratory examinations were conducted, and expert advice was given based on the results.
Also, in order to improve the medical awareness of the population, booklets were distributed to the households by the youth volunteers of the institute together with patronage nurses to promote a healthy lifestyle and healthy diet among the population.
