Rectors of higher education institutions teach students in order to increase their academic activity and at the same time motivate young people.
Thus, professor M.M. Madazimov, rector of Andijan State Medical Institute, delivered a lecture to the 3rd-year students of Therapeutic Faculty.
In his lecture “New technology in surgery. Hybrid surgery”, he mentioned that human skin is an important part of the body and it is necessary to protect it from various external influences, burns and frostbite.
He explained how to provide first aid to patients with burns, the important aspects of prescribed treatment and how to determine the degree of burns.
In addition, he gave information about plastic surgery and talked about its effect on patients’ psychology.
“ Plastic surgery is not only saving the lives of patients, treating them, but also an aesthetic sphere. It is important to help patients with burns or other injuries to preserve their natural state of their bodies without scars as much as possible”, – said the rector of our institute.
Also, during the lecture, he gave useful knowledge about traditional and modern methods of surgery, the results of their implementation.
At the end of the lecture students listened to detailed answers to their questions.
